6 Days Queen-Bwindi Gorilla & Lake Mburo safari
This 6 Days Queen-Bwindi Gorilla & Lake Mburo safari: will takes you through some attractive destinations in Uganda. The safari will first take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is a home to various mammals like the tree climbing lions. While here, you will do your chimpanzee tracking, boat cruise as well as game drives. Thereafter will head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for your gorilla trekking, where you also have an opportunity to see other primates. Some of these include; the baboons, red-tailed monkeys, chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys among others. Later you will conclude your safari with Lake Mburo National Park for the game drive and nature walks.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up by and then start on your journey Southwest wards to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way you will have your stopover at the Equator. While here, you will have refreshments and also enjoy some equatorial experiments as well as take some photographs. Before proceeding to the park, you will have another stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. Thereafter you will continue with your journey as you drive through the spectacular landscape. In fact, these are characterized with open grasslands, tea plantations, Ankole long horned cattle, the Rift valley Escarpment and various woodlands. Upon arrival, you will check in direct in your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking-Boat cruise
You will have your early breakfast then head to the park headquarters. Here, you will have a briefing then after head to Kyambura gorge to track Chimpanzees. Upon locating the family, you will be given 1 hour in their presence as you enjoy their daily activities. After lunch, you will go for a 3-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. While here, the sight of wildlife including giant hippos, elephants and crocodiles among others will fascinate you. You will also be able to spot out different species of birds such as the shoebill, herons, kingfishers, etc at the water shores. Later, head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 3: Morning Game drive-Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will have a game drive within the Ishasha sector to see the tree climbing lions. You will also be able to spot other animals like the buffalos, leopards, elephants as well as different bird species. Afterwards, you will proceed to Bwindi where you will arrive late in the evening. You will check in, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Mountain Gorilla trekking-Batwa cultural experience
After an early morning breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters. Here, you will be briefed by the park rangers about do’s and don’ts while trekking in the park. Afterwards, you will start off your gorilla trekking guided by the park rangers. In fact, it is a memorable and an amazing experience watching these gorillas do their day-to-day activities. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Upon locating a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence.
Later, you will return to your lodge as you prepare for another interesting activity. In the evening, you will enjoy the Batwa community which will expose you to their culture. Some of these include; dances, and also hearing stories concerning their culture which will leave you amazed. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park-Evening game drive
You will have breakfast and later set off to Lake Mburo National Park via Mbarara town. You will arrive in the early afternoon and take some rest before proceeding out for the evening game viewing. While in the game drive, expect to see the gigantic eland antelopes, zebras, topi, impalas, Uganda kob and Cape buffalos, etc. Later, head back to your lodge.

Day 6: Nature walks-Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe
Enjoy your early breakfast and head for a nature walk in the presence of an armed ranger/guide. While here, you will have the opportunity to encounter, Zebras, Giraffes and Eland, Topi, Cape buffaloes among others. Take the Trail to the top of the hills and see Lake Mburo and beyond and from this vantage point. You will also have a great view of 9 of the twelve lakes surrounding this Park. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge for checkout and start on your journey to Kampala/Entebbe.
