4 Days Kibale Primate Safari
This 4 Days Kibale Primate Safari : takes you to Kibale Forest National Park with the highest concentration of habituated chimpanzees. While here, you also have higher chances of coming across other primates like the black and white colobus, red tailed monkeys, olive baboons, blue monkeys etc that also call this park a home. You will also go for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary that harbors different bird species like the turacos, herons, African jacana, kingfishers not to mention but a few.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will start on your journey via Fort portal town. Along the way, you will start experiencing the beauty of Uganda. You will also see great landscapes, beautiful birds as well as the Ruwenzori mountain ranges. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking
After your early morning breakfast, you will head to the headquarters where you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts before going for your chimpanzee tracking activity. The park generally hosts the highest number of primates in the whole of East Africa. These include; chimpanzees, baboons, black & white colobus, blue monkeys etc.
After the briefing, you will be led into the forest by your ranger of the day and upon locating these chimpanzees, you will be given one hour in their presence. While here, you will enjoy their daily activities, so don’t forget to take pictures and videos of these great apes for remembrance. This forest is also a home to over 130 bird species like the Turacos, Gonoleks, robin chats, camarapteras, Cuckoos, not to mention but a few. Later you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Nature walk
Having your morning breakfast, you will head for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary. Here, you will enjoy walking through different trails as you have beautiful views of different birds, primates as well as tree species. Later you will return to your accommodation for lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe or to the Airport to catch up with your flight back home.
