10 Days Best of Uganda Wildlife and Adventure Safari
This 10 Days Best of Uganda Wildlife and Adventure Safari : will basically take you to some of the attractive places in Uganda. The safari will first take you to Murchison Falls National Park the largest park in Uganda. You will have a stopover at Aruu falls, which are vibrant and eye catching. The safari will continue to Kidepo Valley National Park blessed with plenty of wildlife not found in any other parks. You will proceed with your journey to Pian-Upe wildlife reserve which is one of the most distinguished places for harboring quite a number of rare animals. Afterwards, you will head to Kapchorwa district at Sipi falls where you will be amazed with a hike at the 3 water falls flowing from different directions. Lastly, conclude your Safari with Jinja City whereby you will visit the Source of the Nile and also enjoy the Water rafting activity.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park-Top of the falls-Evening game drive
After your morning breakfast, you will be picked by your driver. Thereafter start off your journey to the magnificent Murchison Falls National Park. Additionally, it is Uganda’s largest park with lots of natural wonders. Upon arrival in the park, you will start with your first activity which is a walk to the top of the falls. Here, the Victoria Nile water makes its way through a narrow gorge making a thunderous sound pouring downstream in the Albert Nile. In addition, this place is good for memorable pictures and taking in the sounds and sights. Therefore, be ready to take as many photos here and videos for memories to take back home. Later you will check in your lodge for lunch, as you prepare for another activity in the afternoon.
Later, you will go for an evening game drive across the savannah, following different tracks in the park. Surprisingly, what you will see, sense and feel around cannot be replicated anywhere else in the World. As a matter of fact, this Park hosts over 556 bird species, over 144 mammals, over 52 reptiles as well as 51 amphibian species.
During this game drive, you will be able to spot different animals. These include; Lions, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest, spotted hyenas, giraffes, jackals etc. However, on a lucky day you can also spot leopards. While here, also expect to take photos and videos as you enjoy the wildlife and nature. Later you will check in your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive-Afternoon boat cruise
On your second day, after your morning breakfast you will go for a morning game drive. Here, you will look out for animals that you will have missed out during your previous game drive. These may include; buffalos, warthogs, giraffes, waterbucks, lions, elephants, Oribis, Jackson’s hartebeests etc. Afterwards, you will return to your lodge for lunch, relaxation and refreshment as you prepare for the next activity.
Later you will set off for your boat adventure and while on the cruise, you will be able to view different water animals. These include; the crocodiles, hippos and some other animals at the banks of the river as they quench their thirst. Also expect to see different bird species like the red-throated bee-eaters, kingfishers, martial eagles etc. In addition, not missing out the views of Nyamsika cliffs with their interesting historical background. Feel free to take photos and videos as you enjoy the wildlife on water. However, don’t forget to pack some snacks and drinks to enjoy while on this adventurous 3 hour’s boat cruise. You will later head back to your lodge for accommodation.

Day 3: Aruu Falls-Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
After your breakfast, check out of the lodge and exit the park and start on your journey to Kidepo. You will have a chance to come across some animals, though most of them will be seen in the grasslands feeding. These may include; buffalos, elephants and giraffes, antelopes not to mention but a few.
You will proceed with your journey, having a stopover at Aruu falls. While here, you will enjoy the falls as water cascades down the rocks giving the falls an extremely beautiful view. You can as well take photographs and also enjoy a bath under the waterfalls. Besides, reaching there alone is adventurous too since the place can be reached through ragged rocks and not so well-defined path. Later proceed with your journey to Park.

Day 4: Morning game drive-Evening game drive
You will have your early morning breakfast, thereafter you will embark on a leisurely game drive through the park. While here, you will search for lions, leopards, buffalos, cheetahs, ostrich, zebras, giraffes etc. Later you will return to your lodge for lunch as you prepare for another evening game drive. Since this park has got a variety of animals, in the evening you will go for another game drive. While here, look out for animals that you will have missed out during the morning game drive. Later you will check in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 5: Transfer to Kotido
Having your breakfast, you will set off to Kotido District arriving late afternoon. Upon arrival, you will have lunch and then head to your place of accommodation. In the evening you can decide to visit the town where you can also buy some souvenirs like the Karamajong wrappers or you can also decide to rest to prepare for the next days’ activity.

Day 6: Karamajong Cultural Experience-Transfer to Moroto
After breakfast, you will head straight to one of the villages for an insight into the karamojong culture. Besides, this is one of the most unique and preserved cultures in Uganda. As a matter of fact, they still practice their cultural norms; starting from their manyattas, cultural practices as well as dances. Feel free to participate in the traditional dances and their daily activities. Besides, you can buy some souvenirs, take photos and videos with these interesting people to take back home for remembrance. Later you will proceed to Moroto and check in direct to your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Kapchorwa-Hiking Sipi Falls
After your morning breakfast, you will head to Sipi falls for a hike. Sipi falls is encompassed of three waterfalls each flowing from a different altitude that lies on the foothills of Mount Elgon. Hiking up to the top of the falls will give you tremendous and beautiful scenic views. These include; the Karamoja plains, Coffee plantations, Lake Kyoga, Mount Elgon as well as the surrounding areas. Later you will check in your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Jinja-Visit the Source of the Nile
After breakfast, you will start on your journey to Jinja, have lunch then head straight for a boat ride to the Source of the Nile. Generally, this is where the Nile starts its 4000 mile journey to the Mediterranean Sea traversing various countries along the way. In fact, when you take a boat ride to the source of the Nile, its one of the best experiences ever. Besides, bird lovers are in for a treat as the area is rich with lots of water birds. These include; cormorants, herons, kingfishers, pelicans etc. Enjoy plenty of picture moments and videos to take back home for remembrance and also feel free to buy some souvenirs. Later check in your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 9: White Water Rafting
After having your breakfast, you will join other rafting members and the staff for briefing. Afterwards, you will start off your journey to the Nile River for the white water rafting. Besides, this activity offers the rafters the thrill, excitement and much more. However, the activity doesn’t need any experience. After the water rafting, you will have lunch. You can later decide to visit Jinja town and buy some souvenirs to take back home or just relax at your lodge.

Day 10: Transfer back to Kampala
Having your morning breakfast, you will start off your journey back to Kampala ending your 10 Days Uganda Adventure Safari.
