1 Day: Visit Gisozi genocide memorial site-Hotel des Mille-Craft markets
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Kigali for a visit to the Gisozi genocide memorial site. While here, you picture out the terrifying memories of the 1994 survivors of one of the most horrific disasters the world has known. Actually, during this period, the Hutu massacred thousands of Tutsi and moderate Hutu in less than 100 days. Afterwards, you will proceed to Hotel des Mille Collines where the movie; “Hotel Rwanda” was acted and then later to the crafts markets. Here, you will be able to purchase souvenirs in return to support families of the women involved in making the items and also for your remembrance back home. You will have your lunch at either the Rwandan local markets for the African food test or decide to have it in one of the luxury restaurants.
