8 Days Wildlife & Adventure Safari
This 8 Days Wildlife & Adventure Safari : basically takes you to different destinations in Uganda with different activities and attractions to enjoy. The safari will start with Murchison falls national park which is Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area. While here, you will have a walk at the top of the falls, go for game drives, chimpanzee tracking and a boat cruise. You will later proceed with your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a boat cruise and game drive. Your safari will be concluded with Lake Bunyonyi the second deepest Lake in Africa after Tanganyika in Tanzania. Additionally, it is famous for its lush green terraced hills, legendary Islands and its impressive population of over 200 bird species.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park-Top of the falls
After your morning breakfast, you will be picked by one of our drivers and later start on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you will have a stopover in Masindi town for lunch. This Park is generally famous for its strongest waterfalls and different wildlife species. Upon arrival in the park, you will head straight to the top of the falls. While here, you will have views of the Nile as it squeezes through a canyon and plunges over a 45-metre cliff with a thunderous roar into the devil’s cauldron. Otherwise, feel free to take pictures and videos to take back home for remembrance. Later, check in your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive- Evening boat cruise
After your breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive with your packed lunch. In fact, it will be a great time as you look out for various animal species. Some of these include; buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, oribis, Jackson’s hartebeest, Uganda kobs, spotted hyenas, etc. Afterwards, you will be driven direct to the dock in preparation for an afternoon boat cruise. Later you will set off for your boat adventure and while here, you will be able to view different water animals.
Some of these include; the crocodiles, hippos and some animals at the banks of the river as they quench their thirst. Also expect to see different bird species, not missing out the views of Nyamsika cliffs with their interesting historical background. Feel free to take photos and videos as you enjoy the wildlife on water. The boat ride will basically take you to the bottom of the falls. Here, you will be able to clearly see the mighty waterfalls. However, don’t forget to pack some snacks and drinks to enjoy while on this adventurous 3 hour’s boat cruise. Afterwards, head back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After having your early morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have lunch on the way and later continue with your journey to the park arriving late evening. Later, check in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as you prepare for the next days’ activity.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking-Evening game drive
Having your early morning breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge. While here, you will be allowed to have a fascinating encounter with the chimpanzees led by an experienced armed ranger. Upon locating them, you will be given 1 hour in their presence as you enjoy their daily activities as well as take pictures and videos. Afterwards, you will head back to your lodge for lunch and later head out for an evening game drive. Here, you will search for different mammal species like buffaloes, elephants, hippos, lions, etc. In fact, on a lucky day you can also come across leopards since they are not easy to spot. Later you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning game drive- Evening Boat cruise
After breakfast you will check out the lodge with your packed lunch, and then head for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. Here, you will views of different aquatic wildlife like the Nile crocodiles and hippos. Furthermore, the Channel hosts the highest concentrations of hippopotamus, as well as herds of elephants, buffaloes come to drink from the river. Afterwards, you will go for another evening game drive in search for different animals that you might have missed out during your morning game drive.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After your morning breakfast, you will start on your journey to Lake Bunyonyi. As a matter of fact, it is the deepest Lake in Uganda as well as the second deepest in Africa. Besides, the Lake is one of the few lakes in Uganda that are Bilharzia free, making its water safe for swimming. Furthermore, it’s free from dangerous wildlife like hippos and crocodiles. You will check in direct in the lodge, have lunch. Later, you can decide to go for swimming, relax at your lodge or enjoy the stunning views of the Lake.

Day 7: Canoeing at Lake Bunyonyi
On this day, you will go for a canoe ride whereby you will be able to visit some of the Islands on this Lake. The Lake has generally got 29 Islands some of which were named according to the different bird species. On the other hand, others were named after their historical backgrounds. For example the Punishment Island was used by the Bakiga people to drop their girls who got pregnant before marriage. While visiting these Islands, you will also learn a lot about the people that inhabit these them. Later you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast you will be transferred to Kampala/Entebbe and arriving late evening, marking the end of your 8 Days Uganda Safari
