8 Days Uganda Holiday Safari
This 8 Days Uganda Holiday Safari : takes you to the western part of the country that is gifted with various wildlife species as well as beautiful sceneries. Generally, the safari starts with Semuliki National Park well known for its hot springs as well as different primates. The safari continues to Queen Elizabeth National Park known for its diverse wildlife species and with over 600 bird species. Later head to Lake Bunyonyi the second deepest Lake in Africa after Tanganyika in Tanzania. The safari will conclude with Lake Mburo National Park with the highest concentration of Zebras.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Fort Portal
Depending on your location, you will be picked by one of our representatives. Later, you will be transferred to Fort portal town where you will have lunch. Later you will check in your lodge for dinner and overnight stay and in the evening you can either choose to have a tour around or relax in your lodge preparing for the next days’ journey.

Day 2: Excursion in Semuliki National Park-Sempaya Hot springs visit
After having your early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Semuliki National Park where you will visit the Sempaya hot springs. As a matter of fact, these are the main attractions of this park. Additionally, these hot springs are the largest in Uganda, divided into female and male. However, they both have a geyser that shoots up from 8 meters holes with a high temperature of up to 100 degrees Celsius. Surprisingly, the strength and hotness of the springs are amazing as one can boil eggs and, in a few minutes, it is ready to eat. Later you will transfer to Fort portal town for lunch, check back into your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park-Evening game drive
Enjoy your breakfast and afterwards, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. The park has a variety of wildlife species such as elephants, buffaloes, lions not to mention but a few. Upon arrival, you will have lunch at the lodge and go for an evening game drive. While here, you will be able to come across different mammal and bird species. Later will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Game drive-Boat Cruise
On this day you will have an early morning breakfast and after, you will immediately start off the game drive. While here, you will look out for different animals and these include; lions, buffalos, kobs, elephants etc. It is such a great and exciting time as you can easily see these animals closely. Later head back to the lodge for lunch as you get ready for the afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. In fact this is the most eye-catching activity in this park since this place is a home to various species of birds. These include; malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans etc. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After your morning breakfast, you will start on your journey to Lake Bunyonyi. Actually this is the deepest Lake in Uganda and second deepest in Africa, Additionally, it is free from bilharzia and free from wildlife. You will check in direct in the lodge, have lunch and later you can decide to go for swimming, relax at your lodge or enjoy the stunning views of the Lake.

Day 6: canoeing at Lake Bunyonyi
On this day, you will go for a canoe ride where you will be able to visit some of the Islands on this Lake. Generally, the Lake has got 29 Islands some of which were named according to the different birds that inhabit these the islands. However, others were named after their historical backgrounds. For example, the Punishment Island which is the smallest and was used by the Bakiga people to drop their girls who got pregnant before marriage. While visiting these Islands, you will also learn a lot about the people that inhabit these them. Later you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park-Evening game drive
Our driver will pick you up after an early morning breakfast and later drive Lake Mburo National Park. You will have lunch in Mbarara and later continue with your journey to the park. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge. Later in the evening, you will set out for a game drive through the park where you will take a glance on different animals like the Zebras. Later in the evening head to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer back to Kampala
You will have your breakfast, check out of the lodge and later embark on your journey back to Kampala/Entebbe. You will have a stopover at the Equator for the equator experiments and freshen up. Later proceed with your journey arriving late evening.
