This 8 Days Uganda Amazing Safari : takes you to some of Uganda’s most attractive sites full of adventure. Jinja, is generally the second biggest town in Uganda after Kampala. Along the way, you will have a stopover at Ssezibwa falls, a scenic and cultural site for the Baganda people. Afterwards, proceed to Sipi falls for the three waterfalls hiking adventure. Later, embark on your journey to Kidepo valley national park the largest savannah park. As a matter of fact, this is the only park where you are able to spot a cheetah and an ostrich. You will also visit the Karamajong community where you will have your cultural experience with the karamajongs. Lastly you will proceed to Murchison falls national park which is famous for its water falls. Here, you will enjoy the game drives and a boat cruise.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Jinja City-Ssezibwa falls
After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked assigned driver and later start on your safari. Jinja was once the industrial capital of Uganda but today a residential town filled with numerous Indian-styled old structures. However, before proceeding in Jinja City, you will have a stopover Ssezibwa falls. This will give you a glimpse into the traditional beliefs of Buganda kingdom and great pictures from the scenery and landscape. Afterwards, head to Jinja, check in your lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Boat ride-Transfer to Kapchorwa
You will have a relaxed breakfast, check out and head for a boat ride to the source of the Nile. As you stand on the Nile, you will hear the gurgling water as well as watch native fishermen cast their nets on the longest river in Africa. Here, you will be taken to the actual source of the Nile where you will witness the Lake Victoria separating its self from the river Nile. Afterwards, start on your journey to Kapchorwa. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Sipi falls hiking-Community visits
After your breakfast, you will take off on an early morning hike to the 3 main waterfalls. In fact, this hike is well worth the effort as it will provide a great vista of beautiful scenery. Afterwards, you will head back to the lodge for lunch and later in the evening visit the local coffee farm communities. While here, learn about the entire process, from planting to harvesting. Here, you will also have a chance to take part in several scheduled charity activities. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park-Evening game drive
After breakfast, checkout and start on your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. This park generally offers an abundance of wildlife especially big cats, and a variety of bird species. Along the way, you will have a stopover for lunch and later continue with your journey. Upon arrival, you will check in your lodge and later go for an evening game.

Day 5 : Kidepo Valley National Park- Morning game drive
You will rise very early for a sunrise game drive where you will catch the wildlife when they are most active. Animals to spot include; lions, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, elephant, buffalo, etc. Later, return to the lodge for lunch and in the evening visit the local tribes of the Dodoth and Karamojong. These are basically nomadic pastoralists who are almost unaffected by civilization and who still practice their traditional norms. You will experience their lifestyle firsthand and also watch some traditional dancing. Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park-Evening game drive
After an early breakfast you will check-out and hit the road to Murchison Falls National Park. You will make a stopover in Gulu Town for lunch and later continue to the park. After checking in your lodge, you will go for an evening game drive where you will be able to see different animals. Later head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Morning game drive-Boat cruise
After an early morning breakfast, you will set off for an early morning game drive across the savannah, along Lake Albert Delta. However, what you will see, sense and feel around cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world. Afterwards, you will head to the dock and have your packed lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. The boat will take around 3 hours and while on water therefore, don’t forget to pack some snacks and drinks to enjoy. While here, you will be able to view different animals like the crocodiles, hippos, etc as well as different water bird species. The boat ride will take you to the base of the Murchison Falls and when here you will be able to see clearly the mighty waterfalls.
