This 7 Days Uganda Pearl of Africa Tour: takes you to some of Uganda’s park with the best safari experience. The safari will first take you to Kibale Forest National Park for your Chimp Tracking. You will continue your safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park a home to more than half of the remaining total population of the mountain gorillas and here you will do your Gorilla trekking. Your journey will continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park for the game drives as well as a boat cruise. You will later conclude your safari with Lake Bunyonyi for an adventure tour.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will start on your journey via Fort portal town. Along the way, you will start experiencing the beauty of Uganda. You will also see great landscapes, beautiful birds as well as the Ruwenzori mountain ranges. Upon arrival, check in your lodge for lunch, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking
After your early morning breakfast, you will check out and head to the headquarters. Here, you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts before going for your chimpanzee tracking activity. The park generally hosts the highest number of primates in the whole of East Africa. These include; chimpanzees, baboons, black & white colobus, blue monkeys etc.
You will later be led into the forest by your ranger of the day and upon locating these chimpanzees, you will be given one hour in their presence. While here, you will enjoy their daily activities, therefore, don’t forget to take pictures and videos for remembrance. This forest is also a home to over 130 bird species like the Turacos, Gonoleks, robin chats, Cuckoos, not to mention but a few. Afterwards, you will proceed with your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving late evening.

Day 3: Morning Game drive-Boat cruise
Early in the morning you will have your breakfast, then after proceed for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. While here, be on the lookout for the Cape buffalos, herds of elephants plus the big cats: lions, leopard (not easy to spot) among others. Return to the lodge for some rest and lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a 3 hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. During the trip, the sight of wildlife including giant hippos, elephants and crocodiles among others will fascinate you. You will also be able to spot out different species of birds at the water shores. You will have dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 4: Morning Game drive-Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Early morning after breakfast, you will go for a game drive through the Ishasha sector in the southern part of the park for the tree climbing lions. After lunch en-route and proceed to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking-Batwa culture experience
Having your early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters. While here, you will be briefed by the park rangers about the dos and don’ts before going for the gorilla trekking. Later, you will be divided into a group of 8 individuals and after, start off your gorilla trekking guided by the park rangers. Upon locating a gorilla group, you are allowed an hour in their presence as you enjoy their daily activities. Feel free to take photos as well as videos of this wonderful an forgettable moment for remembrance back home.
Later in the evening, you will visit the Batwa community which will expose you to their culture basing on how they live, dance, as well as listen to their forest stories. The Batwa are generally the first people to live in this forest in harmony with these great apes until they were evicted out in order to reserve the forest for wildlife. Therefore, listening to their amazing forest stories and practices will highlight your day with wonderful cultural experiences. Otherwise, feel free to participate in any of their activities as you also take videos and photos of these unique people. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi-Island Tour
You will have your breakfast and later depart for Lake Bunyonyi well known as the second deepest Lake in Africa. The word Bunyonyi generally means “small birds”. In addition, the numerous islands are other highlights one must look out for.
Later after lunch, you will go for a canoe ride where you will be able to visit some of the Islands on this Lake. The Lake basically has got 29 Islands some of which were named according to the different bird species found on them. However, others were named after their historical backgrounds for example the Punishment Island. This is generally the smallest and was used by the Bakiga people to drop their girls who got pregnant before marriage. This was basically done as a way of punishing them. While visiting these Islands, you will also learn a lot about the people that inhabit these Islands. Later you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe
Take breakfast at leisure and return to Kampala/Entebbe. You will have a stopover in town for lunch and later proceed with your journey arriving late in the evening.
