This 3 Days Ssese Island Holiday Tour: takes you to Ssese islands where you’ll chill at the lovely white sand-beaches. The Ssese Archipelago generally comprises of 84 separate islands. However, some are large and densely inhabited while others are small and deserted. Besides, the Island has got both forest and water bird species for the bird lovers to enjoy. At the forest near the island, mammal species such as the vervet monkey, bushbuck and black and white colobus can be looked out for.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Ssese Islands
After your breakfast, you will be picked by one of our representatives from Great Nest Image Safaris. Later, you will be transferred to Nakiwogo Landing site where you will board the ship to Lutoboka. Here, the journey takes about 3 hours and upon arrival, you will check in your lodge to freshen up, lunch and relaxation. Later in the evening you will enjoy the sweet melodies from different bird species with a cool rewarding breeze from the lake. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Nature walk-Island tour
You will have breakfast and later go for a nature walk in the nearby forest on the Island. While here, you will be able to spot different bird species like the Flycatchers, Hornbills, Herons, Kingfishers, hamerkop, etc. You will also spot some primates like the black and white colobus, vervet monkeys, etc. Later in the afternoon, you take a boat cruise visiting neighboring islands as well as enjoy the sunset on the lake. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will leave the Island by the morning ship. You will have lunch in Entebbe and later be transferred to the Airport for your flight back home.

Visit the Lutoboka Bay
The bay is generally situated 1km downhill from Kalangala. Besides, the sandy forest fringed bay offers a variety of beach activities including swimming and Canoeing. In addition, forest encircling the bay hosts a number of bird species.
Visit Bukasa Island
The second largest island in Ssese is Bukasa which lies on the eastern end of the archipelago. The island also supports a profusion of birds and monkeys and can also be explored on foot.
