3 Days Birding Lake Mburo National Park
This 3 Days Birding National Park : generally takes you to Lake Mburo National Park, one of the most perfect parks in Uganda for a birding safari. Furthermore, it is the closest park to the capital Kampala. This park hosts over 313 different bird species being recorded. Some of these include; the White-winged warblers, Black-billed barbet, Crested Francolin, etc.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast, our bird guide will pick you up from your lodge. Later, you will start off your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. However, there will be various stop overs looking out for certain bird species. These may include; Wolly-necked stork, Lilac breasted roller etc. You will also stop at the equator for photography and stretching up. We will later have lunch and thereafter proceed as you continue with your birding safaris. Dinner and check-in at the lodge.

Day 2: Birding in Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will go for a morning birding on foot along the park trails with an armed ranger. Later, you will head back to the lodge for breakfast. Afterwards, you will proceed for a game drive as well as birding giving you higher chances of viewing mammals and birds. Animals include; Zebras, Impalas, Elands, Topis, Leopards, Buffaloes not to mention but a few. Birds to spot here include; Red Faced Barbet, Coqui Francolin, Brown Chested Plover, Tabora Cisticola, Lesser Blue Eared Starling. Buff Bellied Warbler, Red Headed Weaver, Green Capped Eremomela, Bare Faced Go-away-bird, Red Billed Wood Hope etc. After lunch in the afternoon we shall go for a boat ride in search for the African Finfoot, White backed and Black Crowned Night Herons, Giant Kingfisher etc. Thereafter you will head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Return to Entebbe
Early in the morning after breakfast, your birding on this day will depend on the flight time. There are good spots to look out mostly for species that were missed out. Lunch will be on the way, later proceed with your journey either to catchup with your flight or driven direct to your lodge.
